We're excited to
announce that registration for CCLL 2025
Fall Baseball is now open!
For now, fall
registration will proceed on a WAITLIST basis: you won't be charged at this
point to sign up, and once we receive our formal permits from the city
(practically guaranteed, but always a holdup in fall), we'll activate players
(and collect fees) in order of registrations received.
As always, our fall
programs will be limited in size and scope, and will consist for most teams of
a weekly field practice (in the past is has been Saturday afternoons based on
field permits). A Sunday game (sometimes home at our fields; sometimes away at
neighboring District 25 leagues facilities), and an optional cage-based batting
practice on another day of the week. The season will run from late
August/September through roughly Thanksgiving, with a District-determined game
schedule typically beginning after Labor Day.
How to Register:
- Returning
Players: Log in
to your account to view available programs and add players.
- New Players: If you’re new to CCLL and
live or attend school in Culver City, create an account, set up your
profile, and register based on your player’s league age.
A couple of additional
Fall notes:
(1) Due to limited
field space, our Fall programs will be limited to the following divisions:
Baseball Majors (ages 10–12), Baseball Minors (ages 9–11), combined Softball
Majors/Minors (ages 9–12), and Rookies (ages 7–9) for both Baseball and
Softball. How many teams we allot to each division will depend in part on where
the balance of our registrations lie, and to a lesser degree on what
opportunities exist within the District for games on a divisional basis.
Bear in mind that Fall division selection
does not determine division placement for Spring 2025.
(2) We need coaches! We won't be able to form teams
or begin practicing (let alone play any games) without confirmed volunteers in
place. So anyone with an interest in coaching this fall, either individually or
in committee: please let us know!
We very much
appreciate your patience, and we look forward to getting back onto our fields
soon!
