You've Registered, Now What

Dear Culver City Little League Families, 

On behalf of the Board of Directors, we would like to welcome you and your family to Culver City Little League's 2018 Spring Season. We are looking forward to getting the season underway and sure that you are, too.

We wanted to take the time to provide you with a brief update on the status of team formations for Baseball and Tee-Ball divisions. Teams are or have been formed and will be communicated within the next two weeks.  As you can imagine, this is no easy feat to assemble teams of about 400 players, but we will work diligently to have team rosters officially posted soon.  

One of the biggest changes this 2018 season in Little League play across the country is with the new baseball bat requirement.  All bats used this year must have the new USA Baseball Bat stamp.  There are no exceptions except for the Tee-Ball division where Tee-Ball bats from previous years can be used only if a USA Baseball Bat sticker.

Upon completion, your new team manager will contact you so be certain your contact information in your account is current. We will also email rosters and post them on our website, so be sure to log back in from time to time and click under Team Central and/or keep an eye on your inbox.

Because we need EVERYONE's help in making this season a success, we will be calling on each of you to help fill our many volunteer roles. Each team within every division needs to have assigned assistant coaches, a team parent, scorekeeper/announcer, field maintenance personnel (for prepping/striking fields before and after games) and other roles.  Having multiple families on each team help makes the entire season much more enjoyable for the players.

**Saturday, Feb 24th: Meet Your Coach and Shop Day at Dick's Sporting Goods (El Segundo)
   Come meet CCLL coaches from 12pm-4pm
   And shop all-day at one of our league sponsors, Dick's Sporting Goods, and use this FLYER for 20% all in-store items!

If you plan on helping in any capacity, whether it's as an on-field coach, practice coach, team or dugout parent, volunteer umpire, etc., please complete either a New Volunteer or Returning Volunteer (applies ONLY if you volunteered last season) form and return to our Safety Officer, at Please note, NEW volunteers need to list a SS# and clear copy of their ID to avoid processing delays. NO ONE may participate with youths until they have been cleared. Thank you for volunteering!

Also, all coaches are required to complete an online HeadsUp! concussion training.  The certificate must have a 2018 completion date. Once completed, email the certificate to our Safety Officer, at

If you have an outstanding payment, please login and make your payment as soon as possible so your child may be added to a roster.

In the coming weeks, we will also begin the final task of creating division schedules (which will also be posted under Team Central). In the meantime, here are some important dates:
**Feb 10 (Sat): Field Preparation Day (8:00am-12:00pm) @ CCLL Fields 1, 2, and Lower
**Feb 24 (Sat 12pm-4pm): Meet Your Coach and 20% Off In-Store Purchase Shop Day at Dick's Sporting Goods (El Segundo)

**Mar 3-4 (Sat-Sun): Spring 2018 Opening Weekend!
**Mar 18 (Sun morning): Picture Day- Each team will have a specific time to take photos, and that schedule will be posted at a later date.   Snacks and drinks at Picture Day are generously provided by one of our league sponsors: 7-Eleven
