2024 Year Picnic Details

Dear Culver City Little League Families-

As we approach the end of our 2024 spring season, we want to remind all of you about our Year-End Picnic, to be held on Bill Botts Field 1 a week from today: Saturday, June 15. We'll get rolling on a handful of planned activities starting at around 10am (see below for more details), but traditionally the picnic has been less of a scheduled affair, and more of a casual opportunity for teams to host season-ending potluck parties for players and their families alike.

That said, we'll still have plenty of exciting activities going on! Carnival games (hosted by Prime Time Sports) will be available for all from 10am until at least 1pm, and we'll be holding a raffle during that same time frame (enter to win a new glove, some sweet new drip, or a 2025 registration!). The annual Coaches' Home Run Derby will kick off at 10:30am, and we'll also be honoring our 2024 divisional playoff finalists with recognition and rings, likely right around noon.

The Snack Bar will be open too (with a limited menu)...and our Board will be present in force, so make sure to come and talk with us -- especially with year-end elections coming up -- about opportunities to get involved next year, or to nominate volunteers you believe can help our league continue to flourish.

Also, **for any of you who have yet to complete your family's mandatory snack bar shift,** we will have one last set of opportunities in front of us early this summer, when CCLL plays host to the District 25 8-9-10 Baseball Tournament from June 25 - July 9.
